This painting was created from a picture of a peacock taken by artist Nic Tibo in an animal park. The blue peacock is a large bird known for its majestic appearance with blue and green fethers and ocelli. When tail feathers are spread in the shape of a fan, the peacock is said to be “does the wheen”. This wheel includes eye-shape structures, which are therefore called ocelli.
